Okay, so there was a small Harley meeting yesterday in a small city nearby (Griesheim nearby Darmstadt - not worth mentioning)held by the local Harley Owners club (about 2 1/2 people - NOT a HOG chapter).
Music and drinks were good, one black Savage fitted well inbetween the Harleys (although the bike had been abused obviously - badly leaking oil around the cylinder head gasket and only 18 k kms on the odo)and a couple of veery beautiful custom bikes around. I was wondering about those because you hardly find them around here, fitted with all kinds of - ehm - exhausts only vaguely supposed to be street legal BUT the bikes were registered!
Leaving ths scene heading for my favourite meeting place at the Rhine river ferry I dicovered that those custom bikes had all been trailored! About half a dozen of trailors hidden few streets ahead and obviously none of the custom bikes had come to the meeting on itīs own wheels!
I thought these blokes were only to be found on the other side of the pond?!! Shame! Do those people ever RIDE bikes?
